Plot Synopsis

MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK is a reality series that follows three relentless realtors in Manhattan whose lives intertwine, as they seek to make a fortune selling the hottest and most expensive real estate in the city. The realtors are: Ryan Serhant (SVP & Managing Director, Nest Seekers International), a native of Texas raised outside of Boston, who received his BA in English Literature and Theatre from Hamilton College and then did a short stint on a popular soap opera and as a hand model, but sold $102 million in real estate his first two years in the business and was ranked the #16 broker in Manhattan by "The Real Deal" magazine; Fredrik Eklund (Managing Director, Prudential Douglas Elliman), originally from Stockholm, Sweden, who studied at the Stockholm School of Economics before founding an Internet company and working for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo and now has more than 1.25 billion dollars in residential sales and set record sales in 28 buildings in Manhattan in 2011; Luis D. Ortiz (Vice President, Keller Williams New York City), a former film director, who started in real estate in 2008 by renting 25-30 apartments per month, changed companies in 2009 to focus on sales, changed companies again in 2010 to join Synergy NYC, and now, at the age of 26, is a Vice President in Keller Williams New York City; and Michael Lorber (Director of Business Development, Douglas Elliman Worldwide Consulting), the son of New York real estate giant Howard Lorber, who graduated from the business school at Babson College in Wellesley, MA with a BS in Real Estate and Finance, spent his summers working for Donald Trump while in college before attending law school at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law specializing in tax law, and after passing the bar, felt compelled to go for his brokerage license and pursue his real passion for real estate.

Season 2 debuted on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, with Luis replacing Michael and trying to make a mark by finding an unlisted, off-market property for a potential client, while Fredrik lists a $17-million Tribeca townhouse that Ryan sabotages by jumping into the swimming pool.

MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK returned for its third season on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. In the Season 3 premiere, Ryan takes on a $23 million dollar one-of-a-kind apartment that has never-before-seen features, while Luis tries to take a step up in the NYC real estate world. During the rest of the third season: Fredrik settles into married life, he has baby on the brain and takes a new approach to life by becoming more Zen; Ryan's days of being single and lonely are a thing of the past as he welcomes a very special lady into his life; and Luis leaves the comfort of his shared apartment with his brother for a luxurious bachelor pad overlooking the city he hopes to dominate.

Bravo aired the Season 4 premiere of MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, immediately following an all-day marathon (11am-10pm) of encore episodes from Season 3. This season, Fredrik, Luis and Ryan take their professional and personal lives to the next level. Luis shifts his business into high gear as he takes on his first new development project. Ryan is charming his way through some of the biggest deals of his career, but his most important deal yet involves his girlfriend, Emilia, and living happily ever after. Fredrik is officially New York City's #1 broker, but he still faces a litany of challenging clients and colleagues, as he and Ryan attempt to work together for the first time. In the season opener, "New Wheels, New Deals," Fredrik, Luis and Ryan are together again, under one $17.25 million roof. Fredrik is hoping to close out at an open house that includes amongst its guests, longtime rival, Ryan, and more recent frenemy, Luis. Luis shows little interest in mending fences with either of his adversaries. Meanwhile, Ryan must convince a resistant developer to overhaul construction for a buyer that wants to combine units.

Season 5 of MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK premiered on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo, immediately following an all-day marathon (8am-9pm) of encore episodes from the previous season. This season, Fredrik, Luis, and Ryan tackle their toughest clients and most dramatic personal challenges yet. Fredrik struggles to regain his focus in the wake of devastating fatherhood news and hopes that securing the biggest developments of his career can put him back on track. Meanwhile, Luis says "adios" to his quarter-life crisis as he takes on more responsibility than ever, but realizes that finding his identity may be his toughest deal yet. Always expanding, Ryan's business sees record growth, but he soon finds that maintaining massive sales and juggling his engagement may be too much to negotiate. In a city where it's survival of the fittest, this season will determine once and for all if there's room enough at the top for all three agents.

On Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Bravo premiered the sixth season of MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK, immediately following an all-day marathon (7am-9pm) of encore episodes. In the new season, real estate vets Fredrik Eklund and Ryan Serhant are joined by a new major player in the market, Steve Gold, who specializes in downtown Manhattan luxury properties and won't take no for an answer. After selling more than a billion dollars' worth of real estate in the past year, Fredrik is burning the candle at both ends working alongside demanding top developers on several multi-million dollar sellout projects, while also attempting to try again for the baby he's always wanted. Meanwhile, Ryan and Emilia are embracing their next chapter and settling into married life, but the honeymoon phase may be short-lived when Emilia's sister decides to move in with the newlyweds. Although Ryan's business is booming and his workload is heavier than ever with the recent opening of his new Brooklyn office, tensions rise when he is forced to juggle the stresses of work and family. Fresh to the group but not to Manhattan, Steve Gold originally moved to New York City to follow his burgeoning modeling career, but ultimately gave it up ten years ago to join the real estate game. He hasn't looked back since. A confirmed bachelor, Steve is open to love but settling down is hard to do when he's also laser-focused on doubling his earning this year in sales. The stakes are high and the listing prices are higher as these three rival agents are pushed to the limit managing their personal lives while also moving some of the most magnificent and luxurious properties in the concrete jungle. In the 75-minute season opener, "Good as Gold," former fashion-model turned super-successful-agent Steve Gold joins the cast, but quickly finds himself battling two young sellers who won't respect their elder. Ryan has little time for the honeymoon phase with Emilia as he plans on expanding rapidly into Brooklyn, hoping to sell 50 houses in just three months. Fredrik is becoming a calmer, more meditative agent...that is, until he meets a Tribeca seller who won't negotiate pennies off of her listing price.

Season 7 of MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK premiered on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on Bravo, as Fredrik Eklund, Ryan Serhant and Steve Gold all return for a season of drama and deals. Tbe trio are hungrier than ever to dominate the real estate market in the city that never sleeps. From exclusive TriBeca penthouses to Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's extravagant Connecticut estate, the agents are pulling out all the stops to expand their development deals, nab high-price listings and get them sold. With the title of top real estate agent under his belt, Fredrik is excited to take on his biggest adventure yet, being a father to twins! Balancing work and family proves challenging however, especially with so many quirky sellers making wild demands. Always thinking outside the box, Fredrik decides to throw a pool party to showcase an eccentric Chelsea apartment, equipped with a pool in the living room, but when the owner gets sentimental about the parties her deceased brother used to throw there, she reconsiders selling altogether. On the heels of purchasing a huge brokerage in Brooklyn, Ryan is busier than ever, managing multiple offices while also exploring the expansion of his family with Emilia. In a tough buyers' market paired with sellers' incredulous demands, Ryan is forced to pull out all the stops including dressing up as Lady Liberty and throwing a giant Great Gatsby-themed party to sell a property in only two weeks. Meanwhile, Steve has decided to build out his own team, eager for a helping hand on his expanding business that includes a spacious $9.25 million NoLita property and a $4 million Brooklyn Heights penthouse. Business mixes with pleasure when Steve's ex-girlfriend asks him to sell her TriBeca loft, adding that she also wants to rekindle their romantic relationship. Although the challenges abound both professionally and personally, these top-tier agents never call it quits.

Bravo premiered the ninth season of MILLION DOLLAR LISTING NEW YORK on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 9-10:15pm ET/PT. Returning agents Ryan Serhant, Fredrik Eklund, Steve Gold, and Tyler Whitman are joined by newcomer Kirsten Jordan, joins as the first female broker for this series. A top selling agent at her firm and mom to three young children, she's competitive, tough, and ready to face any obstacle that stands in her way. This season, the agents face the New York City market in an unprecedented way. At the epicenter of the COVID-19 crisis and facing looming uncertainties, the city is completely flipped upside down. The agents must work together to strategize their listings as city dwellers flee to more scenic locations and listing prices dramatically drop. Despite the real estate crisis, the agents list the iconic New York landmark Ansonia building and work with high-end clientele -- Ali Forney Foundation, Kelly Bensimon and a luxury fashion designer.

Ryan recently opened his own brokerage and finally became Serhant the CEO. Banking on the opportunistic market, he seizes the chance to form new relationships with developers, while also juggling to spend time at home with his wife and daughter, Zena, and finalizing construction on their dream home in Brooklyn.

Fredrik attempts to adjust to bi-coastal life but with stay-at-home orders in place, he must innovate to keep up with his New York City listings. From afar, he faces the challenges of setting records in a discount climate and maintaining relationships with developers that question his understanding of the new market.

Steve faces the pandemic head-on in the city with his girlfriend and baby girl, while renovating a new penthouse for his family. As the state of the city remains uncertain, he expands his territory and ventures Upstate where business is booming, with a little help from old friend Dorinda Medley.

Tyler continues to climb his way to the top of the real estate game and is determined to make a name for himself. Unafraid of rivalry, he embraces a newfound confidence and forms a strong professional bond with Ryan while battling some of his other fellow agents.

Kirsten is a powerhouse broker with a portfolio of over half a billion dollars in luxury properties. Ready to make her mark and an athlete at heart, Kirsten approaches each of her listings like a competitive sport. Married to a savvy Italian developer and fluent in the language, Kirsten adds a unique flair to the group with her specialty in the Italian clientele of New York City.
