Season 1 Season 2
Plot Synopsis
Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex, set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game. Based on the film franchise of the same name, the first episode of MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS dropped on Disney+ on Friday, March 26, 2021. A new episode of the 10-episode first season debuted each Friday through May 28.
The sophomore season of MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS premiered on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 on Disney+, as the streaming service released the first two episodes of the new season. After winning back the Mighty Ducks team name last year, this squad-with-heart and their coach Alex Morrow take to the road to attend an intense summer hockey institute in California run by charming yet hardcore former NHL player, Colin Cole. It's a place for kids to get excellent at hockey -- without school to get in the way. As the Ducks try to survive in this super-competitive environment, they're faced with the question: Can you win summer?

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Disney+ released "Lights Out," the Season 2 finale of MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS. With their heads on straight from their perfect summer day, the combined Ducks team heads to the Summer Showcase -- with Alex as their coach and Cole in a new role, so that he won't get in Jace's way
