Plot Synopsis
Each spring since 1934, the Augusta National Golf Club has hosted an invitational tournament, in which golfers compete over four days in a medal (stroke)-play event to win The Masters and its famous green jacket. The tournament was first televised in 1956, when CBS broadcast the last three days of the 20th annual Masters Golf Tournament. Since that first telecast, CBS has broadcast the last two days of each Masters ever since. From 1982 through 2007, USA Network aired live coverage of the early rounds, and ESPN has broadcast live coverage on Thursdays and Fridays since 2008.

In 2014, ESPN provided live coverage of the first two rounds on Thursday (April 10) and Friday (April 11) from 3-7:30pm ET/Noon-4:30pm each day -- with Mike Tirico hosting and Curtis Strange as analyst. CBS broadcast the last two rounds live -- on Saturday (April 12) from 3-7pm ET/Noon-4pm PT and Sunday (April 13) 2-7pm ET/11am-4pm PT -- with Jim Nantz, covering his 29th consecutive Masters (his 27th year as host) and lead analyst Sir Nick Faldo.
