Plot Synopsis

Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, MARVEL'S THE PUNISHER is a one-hour, live-action drama series that centers on former Marine Frank Castle, who takes the law into his own hands while struggling to come to terms with his traumatic past. After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Castle uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York's criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone. On Friday, November 17, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 13-episode first season of the series.

Netflix premiered Season 2 of MARVEL'S THE PUNISHER on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In the second season, former marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace a life as The Punisher. The Season 2 cast also features Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Jason R. Moore, Josh Stewart (John Pilgrim), and Floriana Lima (Dr. Krista Dumont). Steve Lightfoot serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

In the season opener, "Roadhouse Blues," Frank stops for a beer at a roadside bar while driving through Michigcan. But staying out of trouble has never been his strong suit.
