Plot Synopsis

In this two-part documentary, Martin Clunes travels around the world to discover how close the domestic dog is to its ancestor the wild wolf. Whether he's spotting wild wolves in Yellowstone National Park, tracking dingoes in the Australian Outback, or training canines for use in hunting, sled pulling and search-and-rescue, Clunes takes a wry and witty look at why we are prepared to share our homes with dogs who are genetically still 99.8 per cent like wolves.
