Plot Synopsis

Running for five seasons, MARTIN is a half-hour comedy series that follows the lives of Martin Payne, a radio disc jockey, his girlfriend Gina, and their friends living in Detroit, Michigan. The show was a crossover sensation while providing an honest and refreshing view of the Black experience.

On Thursday, June 16, 2022 on BET+, the cast of MARTIN came back for a reunion special to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show's debut. Hosted by Affion Crockett, the 92-minute reunion includes interviews with Martin Lawrence (Martin), Tisha Campbell (Gina), Tichina Arnold (Pamela), Carl Anthony Payne II (Cole) -- along with special musical performances, behind the scenes commentary, and surprise guest appearances -- as the original cast reunite to discuss the show's origin and its evolution.

The 30th anniversary program made its linear television debut on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 8-10pm ET/PT on BET.
