Plot Synopsis

Each season, one newlywed couple undergoes a personal and physical renovation as they buy, renovate and decorate their first home and then adjust to their new marriage while managing their household budget. But they're not alone. They get some help from a designer who guides them through the process of hiring the contractor, obtaining permits and designing their dream house room by room. In Season 3, Rodney and Natalie move out of the "Frat House," a three-bedroom home they share with two of Rodney's friends, and begin their search for their ideal fixer-upper in a new trendy neighborhood of Toronto. In the United States, HGTV premiered Season 3 on March 16, 2010 at 11PM, presenting it as a new series.
