Plot Synopsis

Using computer graphics, archival footage, re-enactments, and first-person interviews with experts, MANKIND DECODED takes the 12 influences highlighted in the series MANKIND: THE STORY OF ALL OF US and explores them more deeply, showing how these 12 timeless forces have shaped human history in extraordinary ways. Each 30-minute episode highlights a different influence, including everything from the desire for luxury to the discovery of fire and from the value of information to planetary events that affected evolution. Experts include H.M. Agnes Hsu, Mike Loades, Richard 'Mack' Machowicz, Ian Morris, and many more.
