Plot Synopsis

Narrated by Connie Britton (English version), Zoe Saldana (Spanish version Season 1) or Elsa Pataky (Spanish version Season 2), MAMAS is a documentary series that follows powerful matriarchs of the animal kingdom. A unique perspective on how all mothers regardless of species love, cherish, and will put their lives on the line for their children. Species featured in the series include potter wasps, grizzly bears, hummingbirds, yellow baboons, cheetahs, lions, wildebeests, black-backed jackals, strawberry dart frogs, praying mantis, African elephants, hyenas, meerkats, toque macaques, and Tomson's gazelles. The series features breathtaking scenery including beautiful landscapes from the forests of Sri Lanka to deserts in Africa. All 15 8-minute episodes dropped on Roku Channel on Friday, May 6, 2022 -- two days before Mother's Day.
