Plot Synopsis

After being randomly selected to room together at Mackendrick Prep, diva Sun Hi, fashionista Jodi and bookworm Corki must learn to live together in harmony. With the help of fellow classmate and an aspiring DJ, Caleb, the girls grow from roommates to band mates as their group, XO-IQ, becomes a schoolwide sensation and they compete for a place in the upcoming school musical, all while balancing music, grades, relationship and crushes. Co-created by Nick Cannon, each episode of MAKE IT POP features original songs and performances with a modern pop twist from XO-IQ, the show's real-life group. Nickelodeon debuted a sneak-peek episode of this series on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 7pm ET/PT, one-and-a-half weeks before the show's official series premiere on Monday, April 6 at 7pm ET/PT. In this sneak-peek episode, "Rumors & Roommates," during their first week at prep school, pop diva wannabe Sun Hi and her fashioned-obsessed roommate Jodi want to learn the identity of their mysterious third roommate. Caleb, an aspiring DJ, causes problems for the residential adviser. Season 2 of MAKE IT POP premiered on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 7pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon. Faced with bigger challenges and higher stakes in Season 2, XO-IQ has yet to reunite after a number of setbacks. Corki is in danger of being removed from Mackendrick Prep by her father, Jodi is deciding if she should pursue her love of fashion, and now that Sun Hi is clashing with hotshot guitarist Linc, it looks like XO-IQ might be over, until a new band competition and rival boy band emerge, changing everything. In the season opener, "Think," Sun Hi holds auditions for a new band, while Corki builds a robot, Chip, for Think Fest. Jodi goes head to head with Alex for a fashion internship.

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 8-9pm ET/PT, Nickelodeon premiered "Summer Splash," a one-hour special episode during which Sun Hi, Jodi, Corki, and Caleb are the house band at a famous summer resort and must juggle creating music with their day jobs as camp counselors. Their ascent to stardom continues as they work to put on the concert of the summer.
