Plot Synopsis

By using CGI to "explode open" everyday machines to reveal their individual parts and inner workings, MACHINES: HOW THEY WORK explores the hidden working of machines of all shaped and sizes -- from parking meters and car washes to fire hydrants and escalators. Plus, the series heads into the factories where these machines are built to meet the larger than life characters who design and construct them.
