Plot Synopsis

Based on the character, Arsene Lupin, created by Maurice Leblanc, LUPIN is a one-hour drama series that centers on gentleman thief Assane Diop, who sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family. Years after a tragic injustice, Assane seeks to settle a score -- and a debt -- by stealing a diamond necklace, but the heist takes an unexpected turn. Assane hatches a plot to contact Comet, an inmate who steers him to a clue about Babakar's demise. Anne Pellegrini comes clean about the past. On Friday, January 8, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the first five episodes of LUPIN.

Part 2 of LUPIN dropped on Friday, June 11, 2021, as Netflix released five additional episodes. Assane's quest for revenge against Hubert Pellegrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger. Pursued by Hubert and his henchmen, Assane scrambles to find Raoul and wins an unlikely new ally as he draws up a grand plan to reveal Hubert's crimes.

LUPIN returned for Part 3 on Thursday, October 5, 2023 on Netflix, which released the entire seven-episode new season. Now in hiding, Assane must learn to live far from his wife and son. With the suffering they endure because of him, Assane can't stand it any longer and decides to return to Paris to make them a crazy proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his plans upside down.
