Plot Synopsis

LUIS MIGUEL: THE SERIES dramatizes the life story of Mexican superstar singer Luis Miguel. In 1981, Luis Miguel's father, a struggling musician, puts him onstage to perform for the first time. Six years later, tension builds between the two. As the press get wind of Luis Miguel's talk with Hugo, his dad tries to get him a duet with Michael Jackson. Luis Miguel begs his record label to let him try a new pop sound, and celebrates his 18th birthday.
