Plot Synopsis

When a corrupt Detroit cop is found dead with a mutilated corpse nearby, Lieutenant Charles Dawson puts Frank Agnew, his precinct's most trusted detective, in charge of the investigation, not realizing that Frank may be more closely tied to these deaths than he's letting on. Frank has been an upright, stoic Detroit homicide detective, but now he seeks revenge after his new love is abruptly taken from him by a corrupt associate. And his desire for vengeance leads him to commit a rash act that puts him at the mercy of Detective Joe Geddes. Geddes, a smart-but-slippery veteran homicide detective, may be a corrupt cop who has murdered to mask his own misdeeds. Now, after Frank's act of vengeance, Geddes has him firmly in his power -- but whether he will act upon his knowledge remains to be seen. Meanwhile, the dead cop is tied to Damon Callis, a ruthless crime lord who is tired of playing second fiddle to Alexander Skelos, Detroit's reigning mob boss. When the cop he bought is found dead, Damon's entire network is at risk.
