Plot Synopsis
Set in the world of the 2018 film LOVE, SIMON -- which was inspired by Becky Albertalli's novel, "Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda" -- LOVE, VICTOR is a dramedy series that follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School, on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school. Other characters in LOVE, VICTOR include: Isabel, Victor's smart and warm mother who loves her husband and her family, but is under a lot of pressure as they move their family across the country; Armando, Victor's regular blue collar "guy's guy" father who loves his family deeply and works hard for his family; Pilar, Victor's sullen younger sister in the throes of teenage angst; Adrian, Victor's adorable, good-natured little brother; Mia, Victor's whip-smart friend with a quick wit and easy laugh; Lake, the quirky and social media-obsessed best friend of Mia; Benjie, Victor's confident and charming classmate; Felix, Victor's lanky, awkward new neighbor; and Andrew, Creek wood's cocky and popular basketball-loving jock. Nick Robinson, who starred as Simon in LOVE, SIMON, narrates this series. Originally developed for Disney+, LOVE, SIMON premiered on Hulu on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as the streaming service released the entire 10-episode first season.
The sophomore season of LOVE, VICTOR dropped on Friday, June 11, 2021, as Hulu released all 10 episodes for binge watching. The new season finds a newly out-of-the-closet Victor entering his junior year at Creekwood High. But being out brings with it new challenges as Victor faces a family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia, and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete -- all while navigating the excitement of his relationship with Benji. Season 2 opens as summer break comes to an end, forcing Victor to grapple with his family's reaction to his coming out. Back at school, Victor starts to lose his nerve about telling everyone he and Benji are a couple. Now out at Creekwood, Victor faces some unexpected resistance from his basketball teammates.

The entire eight-episode third season dropped on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 on Hulu. Season 3 finds Victor going on a journey of self-discovery - not only deciding who he wants to be with but, more broadly, who he wants to be. With their post-high school plans looming, Victor and his friends are faced with a new set of problems they must work through to make the best choices for their futures. In the season opener, "It's You," Victor makes his choice between Benji and Rahim. Mia and Andrew reunite with her estranged mother to get answers. Felix and Pilar begin their new romance, while Lake and Lucy spend the night getting closer.
