Plot Synopsis

This spinoff series has the same premise as the original program, LOVE IT OR LIST IT, but uses a new interior designer, a new real-estate agent and a new city. Homeowners are deciding whether to renovate or sell their houses, and they get some help from an interior designer, former BACHELORETTE Jillian Harris, who transforms their current home into a space that better suits their needs, and a real-estate agent, actor and home expert Todd Talbot, who finds them a new dream home in the greater Vancouver area. At the end of each episode, the family decides whether they should stay and love their renovated home or list their old house so they can buy a new home. HGTV aired the U.S. premiere of LOVE IT OR LIST IT, TOO on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11pm ET/PT. Five months later, on September 8, HGTV showed the U.S. premiere of Season 2 at 9pm ET/PT, featuring Jillian and Todd helping a couple, James and Tokiko, who planned to turn their rustic little rancher into a fairy-tale home five years ago and now, with no real changes, need more space with two young kids. HGTV aired the U.S. premiere of Season 3 of LOVE IT OR LIST IT, TOO on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT. In the Season 3 opener, "Mountainside Charmer," Jillian and Todd help Joyce and Steven, who bought their mountainside charmer 12 years ago. They knew it needed some work, but loved all the space. But once reality set in, the couple realized it was more than they could handle. Steven thinks it's time to move on to greener pastures, but Joyce believes the house could be fixed up with some help. On Friday, January 2, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV aired the U.S. premiere of the fourth season of LOVE IT OR LIST IT, TOO. In the "Main Floor Malfunction (aka Kelly & Steve)" episode, Kelly is frustrated with their home, but her husband won't agree to move.

LOVE IT OR LIST IT, TOO returned for its fifth season on HGTV on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, immediately following an eight-hour marathon (1-9pm) of encore episodes. In the season opener, "Geoff & Lorraine (aka Heart of the Home)," Geoff and Lorraine are empty nesters who want more room for when their expanding extended family comes to visit. Geoff thinks a new home is in order, while Lorraine has too many memories to let go of their home. Realtor Todd needs to convince sentimental Lorraine that a new home is where the heart is. And Designer Jillian and her team must reconfigure a choppy floor plan to show Geoff there's no place like his current home. Can Geoff and Lorraine both love their home again or will they list it?
