Plot Synopsis

LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of young, hip-hop elite as they strive to either make or maintain their lives in Hollywood. These men and women are connected to hip hop through family, their loves, or their own artistic struggle, but they're all fighting for their chance to make it in the entertainment capital of the world, while trying to balance their careers and their personal lives. This series features the following: multi-platinum rap star Soulja Boy, a YouTube sensation with his hit "Crank Dat," who is romantically linked to Nia Riley, the daughter of super producer Teddy Riley; Omarion, the former lead singer of the R&B group B2K, who, along with girlfriend Apryl Jones, must contend with his overbearing mother; Lil Fizz, former member of the R&B group B2K, who is trying to build a future with pregnant girlfriend Amanda Secor, while being tethered to his past by way of his son's mother, Moniece Slaughter; Ray J, made famous for his sex tape with Kim Kardashian but now an entertainment mogul, who struggles to deal with three women -- his ex-fling Teairra Mari, his current boo Princess Love, and his best friend and assistant Morgan Hardman; Hazel E, an upcoming rapper and former publicist, who Teairra Mari seeks for guidance, even though Hazel E has her own love issues with Yung Berg; Masika Kalysha, a star of more than 80 music videos, who comes into the crosshairs of strip-club heiress Nikki 'Baby' Mudarris when the two compete for the attention of music producer Jamal 'Mally Mal' Rashid; Yesi Ortiz, the "Voice of LA," who is a DJ and Music Director for hip-hop radio station Power 106 in Los Angeles; and Sincere Show, a premier club promoter in Los Angeles.

LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD returned for its second season on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1. Miles, a west coast rapper, who was raised with church values bravely faces his truth, when he realizes he's in love with Milan, an openly gay man. The struggle becomes complicated for Miles because his best friend and childhood sweetheart, Amber, is still in love with him. The season follows Miles and Milan's difficult and emotional journey as they deal with the stigmas often associated with intimate relationships between black men in the music industry.

Season 3 of LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD premiered on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1, immediately following an eight-hour marathon (Noon-8pm) of encore episodes. In the 90-minute season opener, "California Dreaming," Moniece and Brandi handle some unfinished business, Shanda and Willie's fairytale marriage hits a major snag and Nikki discovers that Fizz is hiding a secret. In the new season, producer and rapper Safaree Samuels joins the cast. After months of headlines and rumors, the Jamaican charmer is ready to move on from his former high profile relationship and take the City of Angels by storm. A1 and his fiance, singer/songwriter Lyrica, are also new to the cast. This duo has long collaborated side by side in the "industry," yet their high-maintenance mothers, Lyrica G and Pam, threaten their upcoming wedding plans, as the two vie for control over the young couple's life. Masika Kalysha returns to the scene with a new baby on the way. After a very public battle with rap superstar Fetty Wap erupted on social media, the soon-to-be single mother struggles to figure out how Fetty will fit into her daughter's life. Ray J and Princess Love got engaged in last year's finale, but a few dissenting figures will stop at nothing to prevent their trip to the altar. Teairra Mari was slapped with highly publicized misdemeanor charges last year. Will Teairra's friends rally to help bail her out of a bad situation before things get worse? Moniece is ready to address all her haters -- and no one is safe, including the father of her son, Fizz. Miss Nikki Baby is back, and her love life has never been steamier. She's dating Safaree while secretly juggling hot Latina model, Rosa Acosta -- but will they all agree to share? Lil' Brandi, and her husband, Max Lux, fall upon good times, turned bad. Max receives a heavy payday, but in an act of betrayal, Brandi invests the newfound riches behind Max's back. Willie Taylor and wife Shanda Denyce are confronted with their own marital issues in the form of Kyesha, a rapper from their hometown of Chicago. With proof of Willie's infidelities, Shanda questions whether their marriage can last. Soulja Boy is ready to take over the world -- his new album is about to drop, and he and Nia Riley are doing better than ever.

The fourth season of LOVE & HIP HOP: HOLLYWOOD premiered on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1, immediately following an all-day (8am-8pm) marathon of encore episodes. R&B superstar Keyshia Cole joins the cast alongside several newcomers and returning series veterans striving to claim their place as Hollywood's elite. Keyshia Cole prepares for the release of her highly anticipated new album while juggling her co-parenting relationship with ex-NBA star Daniel "Booby" Gibson. Though she may be new to the cast she is definitely already a staple in the industry. Will she able to find the right balance between her music and her personal life? Newlyweds Ray J. and Princess Love are back with plans to start a family. If Princess can manage to tame the reformed playboy R&B singer and Ray can manage to keep up his good behavior, it might be possible for them to enjoy their new family. Will they let friends and work separate them like before and make it past the honeymoon phase? Hazel E returns to the franchise with a new man by her side, a 25 year-old aspiring rapper. She has been dating Marcus Black, one of the hottest up and coming rapper/songwriters in the business. Will the two thrive in the Hollywood spotlight or will the temptation of Tinsel town prove to be too much? Masika Kalysha continues to embrace motherhood and works to further her career as an actress, singer and entrepreneur -- but a major thorn from her ex-boyfriend's past threatens to challenge her place in the Hollywood circle. Fan favorite Teairra Mari is ready to leave her past demons behind her as she looks to the future and her triumphant comeback as an artist. How can he split his loyalty without threatening his livelihood? Nia Riley has left her past drama behind and is ready to indulge in L.A.'s dating scene while she continues her career as a model and social influencer. Season 5 of LHHH premiered on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1, immediately following an all-day marathon (7am-8pm) of encore episode. For the new season, R&B songstress Kimberly Pate, formerly known as K. Michelle, returns to the franchise alongside several newcomers and series vets climbing their way to the top in the toughest city in showbiz. In the season opener, "Clutch Your Pearls," K. Michelle returns to Hollywood, and she already has a score to settle with Lyrica. Moniece's bad behavior catches up to her. Scandal threatens Ray J's marriage to Princess. Teairra hits the town for the first time since rehab.

The sixth season of LHHH premiered on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on VH1. This season, viewers the ultimate VIP pass and a behind-the-scenes look at The Millennium Tour with B2K band members Fizz and J Boog. Omarion's ex and the mother of his children, Apryl Jones, returns to the series while rumors circulate about her close friendship with Fizz. And Marques Houston, alongside his chart-topping group Immature, return to the spotlight and possibly the stage. Power couple Ray J and wife Princess Love are living out their modern-day fairy tale while securing a legacy for Melody Love Norwood and possibly baby number two. Nineties rap sensation YoYo joins the show with her signature message of female empowerment and mentors the younger artists. Kimberly "K. Michelle" Pate struggles with a complicated pregnancy journey via surrogacy. The tables have turned in the Bentley household. After a year embroiled in claims of alleged foul play by Lyrica Anderson, Floyd "A1" Bentley seems to have slipped up and is in the hot seat with rumors of infidelity and salacious headlines. On Monday, December 23, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, VH1 premiered the finale of the three-part Season 6 reunion show. On the conclusion of the reunion, the cast checks Brittany B about her career, A1 and Lyrica try and resolve their relationship troubles, and we say goodbye to one of the OGs of the Hollywood cast. Previously, in Part 1, A1 and Lyrica attempted to talk about their marriage. Apple Watts dropped by to give an update. Apryl and Fizz came armed with their own tea. Then, in Part 2, host Nina Parker and fan-favorite Kendall Kyndall joined the cast to unpack a season filled with drama. Tensions continue to flare between B2K, Apryl Jones and Jason Lee. Meanwhile, Lyrica, Sia and Brittany B finally air out their differences and what happened in Vegas certainly did not stay there!
