Plot Synopsis

War looms over the kingdom of Neunatia, where two young women -- village girl Rin and imperial songstress Finis -- are both burdened and blessed by the power of song. That power can change their destinies, and that of their world. The series opens with village girl Rin longing to leave her home to perform in the capital, where the songstress Finis must use her powers for the war effort. Rin and Al reach a small town and meet a so-called court minstrel named Pony. Henry returns to the capital and finds his superiors eager for war. A squad of soldiers with orders to apprehend a young songstress accosts Pony, Rin and Al. Assassins target Finis, who is attracted to Henry. Henry deploys to the front lines, with Rudo forcing Finis to follow. Pony, Rin and Al meet two sisters, Allu and Monica. LOST SONG had its U.S. premiere on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire 12-episode first season in America a little more than five months after Netflix released LOST SONG in Japan.
