Plot Synopsis

Based on William Joyce's children's book, "Ollie's Odyssey," LOST OLLIE is a four-episode animated series that about a lost toy -- Ollie, a patchwork rabbit with floppy ears and fuzzy memories -- who braves the many dangers of childhood as he searches the countryside to reunite with the boy who lost him; and the story of the boy who lost more than a best friend. The story opens with stuffed rabbit Ollie waking up inside a thrift store, tucked inside a box of old junk, where he plans a daring escape to find Billy, the boy who lost him. After escaping the store and finding some friends, the trio are floating down the Dark River, where Ollie, Zozo and Rosy search for the next spot on Ollie's map. Plus, Ollie recalls something important about Momma. The friends' quest takes a heavy turn as a heartbreaking flashback reveals how Zozo met Nina, then lost her. But a happy memory sparks much-needed hope. Finally, Ollie remembers what happened on the last day he saw his best friend. But will he find his way home to Billy? All four episodes of LOST OLLIE dropped on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 on Netflix.
