Plot Synopsis

LOST IN TRANSMISSION is a one-hour reality series that follows TOP GEAR co-host Rutledge Wood and fellow car fanatic George Flanigen, as they travel across the United States combing the country's barns and backyards for America's most under-appreciated classic cars to rescue and restore. From resurrecting a 1981 DeLorean that was submerged in Hurricane Sandy to an insect-infested 1964 Ford F100 that has been at the mercy of the elements for years, restoring these classics isn't about making a profit for Rutledge and George -- it's about uncovering the most incredible vehicles ever made and seeing them run like new. Rutledge is an expert at finding rare cars and George is a shrewd operator with an eye on the budget, providing a much-needed counterbalance to Rutledge's passion.

On Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, History premiered the season finale of LOST IN TRANSMISSION. In the season ender, "Convertible Comeback," Rutledge and George restore a 1968 Ford XL Convertible as a surprise for its ailing owner, while Rut uncovers huge news on George's long lost Corvette. Meanwhile they trick out a 1949 Chevy Long Bed truck as a gift for Rut's long-suffering wife.
