Plot Synopsis

LORDS OF THE OCEAN is a one-hour documentary series that submerges viewers into the world of professional diving, revealing the challenges of the most unusual jobs below sea level. Viewers get a weekly dose of a day in the life of diving crews battling wicked weather, tight deadlines and technical difficulties to earn big bucks. In the series opener, "Come Hell or High Water," winter storms freeze a passenger ferry in place on the banks of a raging river; meanwhile, Matt races on land, while Herbie battles ice, tides and weather to get to the ferry on time.

LORDS OF THE OCEAN made its U.S. debut on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 10pm ET on The Weather Channel.
