Plot Synopsis

Based on the Emmy-award winning animated short by Sean Szeles, LONG LIVE THE ROYALS is four-night holiday comedy event that focuses on a modern royal family living in an old-fashioned world. They oversee matters of the State while managing typical family dynamics, and they balance current technologies with medieval traditions. They try to keep it together while navigating the week-long Yule Hare Festival where there is delicious food, exciting frights, singing forest men and much laughter. Cartoon Network broadcast this four-night event from Monday, November 30 through Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 7:45-8pm each evening. In the finale, "The Feast," Prince Alex runs away during the Feast of the Hare determined to prove himself by capturing the mythical Yule Hare of Lore.
