Plot Synopsis

Eighteen dance acts compete against each other for the chance to win $500,000. LIVE TO DANCE constructed Dance Domes in New York and Los Angeles to host auditions, and the best dancers were selected to advance. The experts felt some of the dance groups deserved a second chance to make the cut, and LIVE TO DANCE hosted a "dance-off" to find the remaining dancers. In the next round, dance acts compete in groups of six with the top two acts advancing to the grand finale, where the top six acts battle to be crowned champion. Paula Abdul acts as mentor and lead expert, and she's joined on the panel of experts by Travis Payne and Kimberly Wyatt, both of whom have an extensive dance and choreography resume.
