Plot Synopsis
Based on John le Carre's novel of the same name, THE LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL is a six-part miniseries that center on a brilliant young actress, Charlie, who strikes up an acquaintance with an intriguing stranger while on holiday in Greece, but it rapidly becomes apparent that his intentions are far from romantic. The man is Becker, an Israeli intelligence officer, who entangles her in a complex and high stakes plot orchestrated by a Spymaster, Kurtz. Charlie takes on the role of a lifetime as a double agent while remaining uncertain of her own loyalties. Set in the late 1970s yet sharply contemporary, this series weaves a dynamic and exciting story of espionage and international intrigue and of love and betrayal. The Park Chan-wook directed series started shooting across Europe on a global scale on February 8, 2018.
THE LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL premieres in the U.S. as a three-night television event with two episodes each night, beginning Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT. Additional two-hour episodes debut on consecutive nights at 9pm on Tuesday, November 20 and Wednesday, November 21.
