Plot Synopsis

Based on the 2011 movie of the same name, LIMITLESS follows Brian Finch as he discovers the power of the brain-boosting drug NZT and is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. His colleagues at the FBI are: Agent Rebecca Harris, a dynamic investigator who has risen quickly within the FBI, but hasn't come to terms yet with her dark past that initially drove her into a career in law enforcement; Agent Boyle, a former military officer who is now an FBI asset with experience testing the effects of NZT on FBI Special Agents; and Nasreen 'Naz' Pouran, a former prosecutor who joined the FBI in her mid-30s and serves as the Special Agent in Charge of the division that investigates and tracks NZT. Unbeknownst to the FBI, Brian also has a clandestine relationship with Senator Edward Mora (Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, recurring), a presidential hopeful and regular user of NZT who has plans of his own for his new protege. Fueled now with a steady supply of NZT that enables him to use 100% of his brain capacity, Brian is more effective than all of the FBI agents combined, making him a criminal's worst nightmare and the greatest asset the Bureau has ever possessed.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, CBS premiered the season finale of LIMITLESS. In the season ender, "Finale (Part 2)," following a stunning betrayal to their team, Brian and the FBI race to stop an NZT-enabled Sands and his associates from orchestrating an international incident. Also, Brian experiences devastating side effects when his NZT immunity starts to wear off.
