Plot Synopsis

LIFE LINE BOOTH documents what happens when phone booths in Los Angeles' Skid Row are transformed into havens, so that anyone can freely take donated food, water, clothes, health and medical items. Plus, this social outreach experiment provides a "Write, We Listen" box with blank paper, sign boards, markers and pens, providing the homeless a chance to share stories, express themselves, and be heard. LIFE LINE BOOTH was originally released as three episodes: Episode 1 on YouTube on June 30, 2013; Episode 2 on YouTube on July 31, 2013; and Episode 3 on September 7, 2013 at a viewing party at Angel City Brewery, which showed the entire trilogy. When Pivot aired the television premiere of this series, the channel showed it in five, 15-minute installments over three days.
