Plot Synopsis

LIES, CRIMES & VIDEO is a one-hour true-crime series that takes an intimate look into terrifying 911 calls, police interrogations, jail house recordings, body camera and surveillance video captured as part of a criminal investigation. This series features stories that incorporate video evidence in criminal cases and shocking courtroom testimony. The lies, deceit and bad behavior are all caught on camera. The first season includes these eight episodes:

"Crazy, Sexy & Deadly" (June 8, 2019): Shayna Hubers and Ryan Poston seemed like a match made in heaven, until he ends up dead in a pool of blood -- shot in the face. Stunning interrogation tapes leave cops in disbelief and lead investigators to a surprising motive.

"Chained by a Serial Killer" (June 15, 2019): Prominent realtor Todd Kohlhepp's double life is exposed when police launch a dramatic rescue -- all caught on body camera -- of a young woman chained inside a shipping container on his property. But that's not the only shocking surprise.

"Shopping with a Killer" (June 22, 2019): 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle is lured out of a Walmart by a registered sex offender -- but that's just the beginning of a night of terror, all caught on camera.

"Murder in the Church" (June 29, 2019): Missy Bevers was a mom-of-3 and a sought-out fitness instructor in her community. As she's setting up for an early-morning workout class at the local church, surveillance cameras capture a disturbing series of images -- her killer, lurking the halls.

"If Looks Could Kill" (July 6, 2019): Model Tara Lambert hires a hitman to kill her husband's ex and put her in a woodchipper -- but what she didn't know was that cameras were rolling.

"Killer Dad: Chris Watts Speaks" (July 13, 2019): "Loving" father Chris Watts turns into one of the nation's most notorious killers overnight. Secret videos document a series of chilling murders from start to finish -- revealing lies, a scandalous affair and a shocking cover-up.

"Horror in Apartment 345" (July 20, 2019): Gorgeous 27-year-old Sasha Samsudean appears to be sexually assaulted and is found strangled in her luxury downtown Orlando apartment. Shocking surveillance video and a slew of clues ultimately lead investigators to the killer.

"Killer at College" (July 27, 2019): Beautiful college lacrosse player Yeardley Love is found dead in her college apartment. But the community is left stunned when cops arrest a member of a wealthy, prominent family.



LIES, CRIMES & VIDEO returned for its second season on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 8-10pm ET/PT, as HLN debuted the first two episodes of the new season. Season 2 episodes include:

"Yoga Store Slaying" (Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 9pm): Lululemon employee Jayna Murray is found stabbed to death inside one of the company's high-end Washington, DC yoga stores. Her co-worker is bound and bleeding in a back room. As different suspects emerge, evidence starts to point to someone on the inside.

"One October: Massacre on the Strip" (Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 10pm): Stephen Paddock lived the lifestyle of the rich and famous in Las Vegas. Gambling up to $1M a day, he was known as a 'whale.' Whatever he wanted -- he got. But a trip to Vegas in October 2017 leaves 58 dead. See new evidence and untold stories and video in this episode.

"Summer Night Massacre" (Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 9pm): When 5 family members are found brutally murdered in the small Oklahoma city of Broken Arrow, police are on the hunt for a mass murderer. They just didn't expect to make an arrest so close to home.

"Nightmare in Fargo" (Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 10pm): Savanna Greywind couldn't wait to be a mom. But just before her baby is due, the pregnant 22-year-old disappears from her own apartment. When the baby turns up alive, but still no sign of Savanna, the investigation reveals a suspect close to home.

"Secrets in Room 120" (Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 9pm): A mysterious tip leads police in Moore, Oklahoma to the Super 8 hotel. Inside Room 120, they find a missing teenage boy, a box of condoms, lotion -- and a married state senator.

"Shark River Mystery" (Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 10pm): 19-year-old Sarah Stern vanishes just before Christmas -- her car found abandoned by Shark River. But the missing persons case soon turns into a homicide, and cops start focusing on a prom date.

Season 3 of LIES, CRIMES & VIDEO premiered on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on HLN. The six-episode new season features the following stories:

"Poker Night Murder (Kelley Stage Clayton)" (Sunday, November 14, 2021, @10pm ET/PT): Young mom of two, Kelley Stage Clayton, is found brutally murdered in her home after her husband returns from a night of poker. Her young child witnesses the crime and reveals shocking details to investigators.

"Deal with the Devil (Kelsey Berreth)" (Sunday, November 21, 2021 @10pm ET/PT): Young Colorado mom disappears Thanksgiving Day, last seen on grocery store surveillance with her baby. Police soon uncover a brutal crime scene at her home and also expose a twisted love triangle.

"Horror in the Woods (Matthew Hoffman)" (Sunday, December 5, 2021, @10pm ET/PT): Mom, Tina Herrmann, her 2 children and a family friend disappear. Her home reveals a gruesome crime scene suggesting dismemberment. The deranged killer hides the bodies in a place you would never believe.

"Driven to Death (Todd Kendhammer)" (Sunday, December 12, 2021, @10pm ET/PT): Barbara Kendhammer suffers fatal injuries after a heavy pipe impales the windshield of her car. But evidence at the crime scene tells a different story.

"Nightmare Stepmom (Zahra Baker)" (Sunday, December 19, 2021 @10pm ET/PT): 10-year-old Zahra Baker survived cancer twice but lost her leg and hearing. When she disappears from her bedroom in the middle of the night, investigators are puzzled by a ransom note left at the scene, but Zahra's fate is worse than they could have ever imagined.

"Murder, Fire & Marriage (Brett Seacat)" (Sunday, December 26, 2021 @10pm ET/PT): Beautiful young mom of 2 perished in a raging house fire, but her autopsy reveals the cause of death was not asphyxiation, but a bullet wound to the head. Forensics uncover the killer.
