Plot Synopsis

Based on Bonnie Garmus' 2022 book of the same name, LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY is a one-hour drama series that follows Elizabeth Zott, whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a 1950s patriarchal society. When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives -- and the men who are suddenly listening -- a lot more than recipes. The first two episodes of LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY dropped on Friday, October 13, 2023 on Apple TV+. A new installment drops weekly on Fridays through November 17, with the finale debuting on Tuesday, November 22.
