Plot Synopsis

Filmed at the Apollo Theater, this four-part special features musical performances and intimate reflections by some of the biggest artists in music history. Each one-hour episode focuses on a single musician, including: seven-time Grammy Award-winner Gladys Knight, who performs her legendary hits with special guests Yolanda Adams, Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, and her brother/Pip, Merald 'Bubba' Knight Jr.; Grammy Living Legend Recipient and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Smokey Robinson, who is joined by Joss Stone; Grammy Award-winning and Billboard powerhouse The Isley Brothers, who perform their catalogue of musical hits known to powerfully intersect the gospel, R&B, rock, soul, funk and disco genres; and eight-time Grammy Award-winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recipients Earth, Wind & Fire, who are joined by jazz pianist and composer Ramsey Lewis.

On Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network premiered the season finale of LEGENDS: OWN AT THE APOLLO, immediately following a three-hour marathon (7-10pm) including encore presentations of all three previous episodes. In the season finale, one of America's top-selling groups of all time, Earth, Wind & Fire. perform at the Apollo Theater and are joined by Ramsey Lewis.
