Plot Synopsis

Couples pitch veteran contractor Bryan Baeumler the spaces they want renovated most, but leave Bryan with the final verdict. With Bryan making choices based on the biggest need, priorities clash and reno dreams are put on pause, as homeowners are forced to re-evaluate their renovation expectations. Sometimes a couple might have their heart set on a kitchen renovation, but Bryan instead fixes their roof and porch, which are in danger of collapsing. Other couples might disagree on which home improvements they want to make to best fit their lifestyle, and Bryan helps resolve their conflicting opinions. Either way, Bryan gives couples the renovation they need to make their homes a safe and happy place to live. HGTV aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 9am ET.
