Plot Synopsis

Adapted from Hitoshi Iwasaki's manga, "Tanabata no Kuni," LAND OF TANABATA follows Yoji 'Nanmaru' Minamimaru, a student with a unique power, who discovers that his professor has gone missing. Nanmaru is an absent-minded university student who has the seemingly useless power of being able to make a hole in anything, but he finds himself suddenly at the center of a potentially world-ending crisis with nothing but his useless power to help. Three episodes of LAND OF TANABATA dropped on Thursday, July 4, 2024 on Hulu. Two new installments debut on the following two Thursdays (July 11 & 18), followed by one episode each Thursday through August 8.
