Plot Synopsis

Host Lisa Arch and the LABOR GAMES camera crew surprise a new set of parents who are in labor at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, CA, offering the opportunity to win a nursery full of prizes before the baby is born. The parents' normal delivery room immediately transforms into a game show set -- with flashing lights, game monitor, and theme music -- but the clock is ticking as they try to win trips, cash, baby monitors, food, clothing, and the grand prize -- a $10,000 scholarship -- before their ultimate prize, their newborn baby, arrives. On Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, as part of TLC's "Mother of All Weeks" celebration of Mother's Day, the cable channel premiered back-to-back sneak-peek episodes of LABOR GAMES. More than four months later -- on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 -- TLC broadcast the official series premiere, showing back-to-back new episodes from 8-9pm ET/PT.
