Plot Synopsis

Each week, two professional chefs enter KITCHEN INFERNO and compete against each other and elite chefs in culinary showdowns, while vying to win up to $25,000. At the end of each of four rounds, the INFERNO's rotating panel of judges chooses that stage's best dish in a blind taste test, so they don't know which dish was prepared by a competitor and which by a famed chef. If the competing chef is victorious, they have the chance to take the money and go home or risk their winnings and advance to the next round, with each stage becoming more difficult. If the competing chef wins the final round, they go home with $25,000 -- but if they lose at any stage, they'll watch their winnings go up in smoke and leave with nothing. The rotating panel of judges incudes chef Daniel Green, chef Judy Joo, chef Michael Ruhlman, and others, while the contestants compete against some of these famed chefs: Michael Chiarello, Madison Cowan, Elizabeth Falkner, Jet Tila, Geoffrey Zakarian, Curtis Stone, and many more.

On Christmas Eve 2014 (Wednesday, December 24) at 11pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the Season 1 finale of KITCHEN INFERNO. In the season ender, "Fired Up," the Inferno is ablaze as Chef Lia Fallon and Chef Carina Lampkin go against the culinary gladiators in an attempt to score $25,000 by incorporating canned tuna into a gourmet dish and making an outrageous dessert pizza.
