Plot Synopsis

Gino Panaro runs a Brooklyn-based, family landscape business that transforms smaller urban backyards into sanctuaries. In KING OF DIRT he works with his brother, Ralph, tackling some of the city's biggest challenges -- saving a couple's beloved plum tree or hauling materials through houses. But Gino faces his biggest challenge when he agrees to landscape around a pool...for his wife. In Season 4, Gino helps out: Nunzio and Deb, who are are anxious to get their yard finished so they can start using their new pool before the summer is over; Giorgio and Jennifer, who are ready to make some changes to their new home that has an aggressive slope transitioning into a highway; Steve and Jessica, who have a wasteland in their backyard and with a 3-year-old daughter, an unsafe outdoor area won't do; Jerry and Maryann, whose gorgeous Staten Island home has broken down hardscaping and an out-of-order swimming pool that has been collecting debris for years; Charlie and Monica, who had someone build a patio and landscape their backyard a few months ago -- but it's only halfway done; and Dolly Rogers, who wants to make over the public area of this Children's Specialized Hospital in order to honor her son Joey.
