Plot Synopsis

KILLING TIME is a one-hour crime-mystery series that zeroes in on a critical, lost gap of time during the day of a homicide. Once that gap's pieced back together, it breaks the case wide open. Investigation Discovery premiered the series at 7pm ET/PT on New Year's Day 2019 (Tuesday, January 1) with the "Sleep No More" episode, chronicling the story of a couple savagely attacked while sleeping at home. Only the wife survives. She first implicates her own son, but later claims he couldn't have done it. Is her son a ruthless killer or were the family's mafia connections actually to blame? Nearly two months later on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery debuted the official series premiere. In this new episode, "Poker Faced Killer," Thomas Clayton comes home from a poker game to find his wife Kelley murdered. After Thomas's daughter describes the attacker as a man with "eyes like Daddy," he becomes a suspect. But Thomas's poker buddies provide his alibi. So who killed Kelley?

On Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the season finale of KILLING TIME. In the season ender, "Keep Your Friends Close," a wife arrives home with her daughter to find her husband lying dead. Detectives think this was just a tragic accident, until they discover the family's vehicle is missing. Was this a home robbery or could it have possibly been a family affair?
