Plot Synopsis

Brazilian TV personality and politician Wallace Souza faces accusations of masterminding the violent crimes he reported on and rallied against. Souza is beloved by Manaus's gang-weary citizens until a criminal's arrest leads to a shocking allegation. Police reexamine old episodes of "Canal Livre" in hopes of discovering how Souza and company knew so much about the crimes they reported on. As Souza argues that he's been set up by enemies and political rivals, the police plow ahead with a raid on his home. With his son Raphael and other trusted advisors in custody, Souza struggles to defend his reputation against an avalanche of negative press. KILLER RATINGS premiered on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire seven-episode series.
