Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour, syndicated courtroom series, Judge Alex Ferrer -- a former police officer, trial attorney and criminal court judge -- hears testimony from plaintiffs and defendants and rules on these cases, which would normally have been heard in small-claims court. Season 9 premiered on Monday, September 9, 2013 (check local listings for channel and time), with a new episode featuring Tristani, who said she became homeless because of her roommates, but they claim she walked out and left them with her bills. On the second day of the new season, Toshia said that after she bought her boyfriend a car, he changed, but he claims she became controlling after insisting on the purchase.
