Plot Synopsis
Each half-hour episode of THE JOB INTERVIEW focuses on a single company as the employer conducts real interviews with real candidates, with only one of the potential employees landing an offer. As candidates step off the elevator, every bead of sweat, awkward handshake, and nervous laugh is captured on camera. CNBC premiered THE JOB INTERVIEW on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 10-11pm ET/PT, debuting back-to-back new episodes:
"Xendoo" (10pm): Xendoo is a Florida based accounting firm looking to hire a detail-oriented bookkeeper. Candidates face deep diving questions about their character... and their closets. Some excel when put on the spot, but others reveal their biggest weaknesses. Which math whiz will impress the interviewers and which will buckle under pressure?
"Love Cork Screw" (10:30pm): Love Cork Screw is an up-and-coming wine label seeking a brand ambassador. Candidates must demonstrate their sales strategies and explain their motivations. Some fail to make the right impression with excessive sweating and inappropriate attire, while others succeed with dynamic conversation and genuine passion. Which potential ambassador will be able to prove their people skills and which will let their nerves take over?

On Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10-11pm ET/PT, CNBC premiered the season finale of THE JOB INTERVIEW, debuting back-to-back new episodes:
"Woofie's" (10pm): Virginia pet company Woofie's is in search of an experienced dog groomer to operate one of its mobile vans. Candidates must exemplify a keen knowledge of canine breeds and health... and even examine a real dog. While all of them are true dog lovers...some of them may not do as well with people. Who will be judged best in show and who will be left begging?
"Watershed Hospitality" (10:30pm): Watershed Hospitality is a restaurant management group in Ann Arbor looking for a catering and events sales manager. The position requires equal parts organization and charisma. Candidates are assessed on their cold calling abilities, values, and long term goals. Some seem too experienced, while others are far too blunt. Who will land the position and who will go back to the job hunt?
