Taped each week in Los Angeles, JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME features host Jim Rome sitting down with relevant and influential figures in the world of sports and entertainment to discuss a wide range of topics. Guests for the premiere episode included: Los Angeles Lakers world champion Kobe Bryant; Green Bay Packers Super Bowl champion quarterback Aaron Rodgers; acclaimed actor and sports enthusiast Matthew Perry; legendary Hollywood producer and sports franchise owner Peter Guber; Derek Fisher, five-time NBA champion and president of the National Basketball Players Association; and former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber. Season 2 returned on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, with a program featuring a round table discussion with former NFL star Dhani Jones, UFC champ Ronda Rousey, and noted sports sociologist Dr. Harry Edwards, and one-on-one interviews with rapper/TV star Ice Cube and eight-time world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather. JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME returned for its third season on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, continuing to air the second Wednesday of the month from February through the end of 2014. In the Season 3 premiere, Rome welcomed guests Wayne Gretzky, Frank Thomas, Paul George, and Kevin Love, as well as a panel discussion that included Jim Mora, David Feherty, and Kevin Frazier.
