Plot Synopsis

Newly-single Jennie Garth, her three daughters -- Luca, 14; Lola, 9; and Fiona, 5 -- and her assistant leave the carpools of Los Angeles for the cow patties of a seven-acre farm in Central California's Santa Ynez Valley. Originally from rural Illinois, Garth moved to Hollywood more than 20 years ago. Now, she's searching for a simpler life -- but will the move give her the all-American lifestyle she dreamed of or will it just turn her family's world upside down? One month before the series premiered, Garth and Peter Facinelli announced they were calling it quits after 11 years of marriage; the series will deal with the breakup, but Facinelli will not appear on camera.
