Plot Synopsis

A crew of kid pirates -- leader Jake, pals Izzy and Cubby and his lookout parrot Skully -- sail on the good ship Bucky and take adventures in Never Land while working together to outwit Captain Hook and Smee. Along the way, they model teamwork, problem-solving and physical activity as they learn to maneuver around Hook and Smee, earning gold doubloons as they conquer tasks including crossing a muddy swamp, swinging on vines and sliding down waterfalls. Plus, the series features original music performed by The Never Land Pirate Band with Sharky and Bones popping up to sing pirate ditties throughout every episode. Each episode concludes with a live-action music video featuring The Never Land Pirate Band performing a song including "Talk Like a Pirate," "Hot Lava" and "Ah, Coconuts!" JAKE AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES returned for its third season, with the Season 3 premiere airing on Disney Channel at 8:30am ET/PT on Friday, January 3, 2014, and then later the same day on Disney Junior at 7:50pmm ET/PT. The new season included extended length episodes, a revamped rock and roll-style theme song performed by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band, new gadgets (e.g., Jake's Mega-Mecha Sword, a robot suit and an invisibility ring), and new rival characters, like pirate ghosts, mummies and robots. Season 3 celebrity guest stars include: Jack McBrayer as a pirate mummy; Mark Hamill as chilling pirate Shiverjack; Carl Reiner as ghost pirate Captain Treasure Tooth; Rico Rodriguez as Snow-Foot; Estelle Harris as Peg-Leg Peg; and Jo Frost as Nanny Nell, Captain Hook's no-nonsense nanny.

Season 4 of the series, now known as CAPTAIN JAKE AND THE NEVER LAND PIRATES, premiered on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 8am ET/PT on Disney Channel & Disney Junior. The season opener features two stories: "Into the Heart of Coldness," as Jake must rescue the Penguins of Chilly Canyon from ShiverJack's frozen fortress; and "The Remarkable Beardini," as tThe Remarkable Beardini is convinced Captain Jake stole his invisibility ring.
