Plot Synopsis

IZZY'S KOALA WORLD is a quarter-hour docuseries that follows young koala caretaker Izzy Bee and her family, as they rescue cuddly creatures in need and help them head back into the wild on Australia's Magnetic Island. The series opens with Izzy helping a koala named Rosie find a new home with lots of lush leaf to munch on -- and the perfect spot might be right near Izzy's school. Then, curious and cute Chompy was found without a mom, so Izzy has to do everything a mother would do for him in the wild to make sure he grows up strong. On Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the eight-episode first season of IZZY'S KOALA WORLD.

The eight-episode second season of IZZY'S KOALA WORLD premiered on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire new season. When a koala needs help, Izzy Bee and her family are there -- and with Australia's extreme fires taking a toll, their care is needed now more than ever. In the season opener, "Baby Koalas!," with four baby koalas already under their care, Izzy's family has their hands full! But they make room for one more after finding a baby without a mom.
