Plot Synopsis

IT'S HOW YOU GET THERE is a half-hour realty series that follows Greg White and Julian Taylor, along with resident expert Jenn Barlow, as they travel across America riding, driving and flying. But sometimes the journey is just as important as the destination, and this series focuses on the stories behind their trips and the vehicles that get them there. In the series opener, Greg and Julian decide that Northern California is the perfect place to do an old vs new comparison of a 2016 Mustang 5.0 modified by Richard Petty's Garage against a classic 1969 Chevy Camaro in a scenic race to the Sierra Nevada Brewery. After that breath-taking journey, they switch from four wheels to two and head to Seven Guest Ranch on a pair of Ducati Motorcycles: a Multistrada and a Monster 1200-S before changing out one of the Ducati's for the latest model Kawasaki Versys 1000 as they continue the journey to Spinner Fall Lodge near Mount Shasta. Finally, at beautiful Lake Shasta, the guys decide a little travel by jet skis is in order--and not just any jet skis, but Supercharged Kawasaki 310's.

Season 2 of IT'S HOW YOU GET THERE premiered on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 8-9am ET/PT on History, with returning hosts Julian and Jenn, who are joined by newcomer Sam Nehme. The second season kicked off with back-to-back new episodes:

"Sun N Fun" (8am): Julian meets a world champion wave runner racer, Sam, at his little motor sports store, which happens to be the largest in Florida. Julian ends up with a Polaris Slingshot and he and Jenn journey to the Sun N Fun air show, where they take the G-force challenge by riding with the world renowned high-flying Phillips 66 Aerostars.

"Keep on Truckin" (8:30am): The trio travel to Utah to drive the latest 18 wheelers from Freightliner and Volvo. 475 horsepower and a whole lot of torque hauling 80,000 pounds through the mountains of Utah with novice drivers Jenn, Julian and Sam, sounds like a trip! After Jenn and Sam master the big rigs on the open road, it was time to learn how to park them--backwards! The parking challenge commences!
