Plot Synopsis

IT TAKES A SISTER is a half-hour reality series that follows Nikki Alexander who lives under one roof with her four younger sisters, her eight nieces and nephews, three dogs and one of her sister's exes who is also her assistant. After being in the public eye for many years as a reality star, Nikki fell in love with Knoxville and decided to uproot her life and pursue her dream of opening her own clothing boutique. Nikki has brought her sisters along for the ride and with everyone under her roof, it's up to her to keep the peace, which is why she's known as "Mama Bear." Her sisters include: 31-year-old Jenni, the second oldest in the family, who prides herself on being the structured and responsible sister and recently moved from Michigan to Tennessee to start a new business and provide her three children -- Adonis, Jaiden & Justin -- with a better life; 30-year-old Erika, who retreated to Knoxville with her two kids -- Zaira & Nathyn -- in tow after a bad break-up and plans to help Nikki with the store while she gets her life back on track; 27-year-old Kortnee, the rebellious spitfire sister, who moved from Florida with her two kids -- Jelaiyah & Giulianna -- to Nikki's house in Knoxville and is trying to pick up the pieces after a painful break-up; and 25-year-old Meagan, the baby and black sheep of the family, who moved down to Knoxville in hopes that living together will help repair her strained relationship with her sisters, while Dre -- her baby's father and her former boyfriend -- works as Nikki's personal assistant.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 9:30pm ET/PT, Oxygen premiered the season finale of IT TAKES A SISTER. In the season ender, "Unstoppable Together," Kortnee's attempt to relieve her stress with yoga goes awry. Jenni and Erika have a grand opening for their new food truck. Meagan says she's going back to Michigan but Dre and her sisters won't let her leave without putting up a fight.
