Plot Synopsis

Inspired by a popular meme and hosted by Mikey Day, IS IT CAKE? features talented bakers who create hyper-realistic cakes that look exactly like everyday objects, as they try to deceive a panel of celebrity judges and earn the cash prize. Viewers will be asking themselves, "Is it real? Or is it cake?" Competing chefs include: Andrew Fuller, April Julian, Dessiree Salaverria, Hemu Basu, Jonny Manganello, Justin Rasmussen-Ellen, Nina Charles, Sam Cade, and Steve Weiss. A second helping of IS IT CAKE? debuted on Friday, June 30, 2023 on Netflix, which released all eight episodes of the new season. Host Mikey Day returns for higher stakes and wilder bakes, as a new batch of hungry cake artists compete for an even bigger cash prize.
