Plot Synopsis

Engineer Timothy Galarnick and inventor Chad Houseknecht travel across America, inspecting the nation's infrastructure, identifying potential dangers, and offering solutions to fix the problems they find. In each episode, they focus on a different city and evaluate everything from bridges to levees, congested highways to overlooked potholes, and water systems to sewage systems. Along the way, Galarnick and Houseknecht highlight the engineering principles used to build these structures and discuss how their use has affected the structures over time. The duo travels to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Los Angeles and four others cities in the first season.
