Plot Synopsis

Combining actual interrogation footage with first-person interviews, INSIDE THE BOX: INTERROGATION reavals what happens inside interrogation rooms across America, offering insights into the minds of both the suspects and interrogators and showing the methods and repercussions associated with trying to determine a suspect's innocence or guilt. MSNBC airs this program as a series of 60-minute specials, with each program focusing on two different cases, including: alleged serial killer Rex Krebs being questioned by veteran detective Larry Hobson, who employed the unorthodox strategy of bringing the suspect's girlfriend into the interview room; Thomas Cogdell, who, at age 12, was accused of killing his younger sister, suffers an emotional breakdown during questioning, and later has his confession voided by the Arkansas Supreme Court; and more persons of interest whose lives may hang in the balance in the box.
