Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by Zach Woods, Brandon Gardner, and Mike Judge, each half-hour episode of this animated comedy series follows the making of an episode of Lauren Caspian's NPR show, "In the Know," in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Lauren collaborates with a diverse crew of NPR staff: research and fact checker Fabian; college intern Chase; "In the Know" EP Barb; sound engineer Carl; and culture critic Sandy. Guest interviewees include Kaia Gerber, Jonathan Van Ness, Ken Burns, Finn Wolfhard, Norah Jones, Tegan and Sara, Nicole Byer, Roxane Gay, Mike Tyson, Jorge Masvidal and Hugh Laurie. All six episodes of IN THE KNOW dropped on Thursday, January 25, 2024 on Peacock.
