Plot Synopsis

Executive produced and hosted by Ice-T, IN ICE COLD BLOOD is a one-hour docuseries that uses in-depth interviews, reenactments and archival footage to spotlight shocking true stories involving sex, money, murder -- or a fatal cocktail of all three. Each 60-minute episode delves into an edgy mystery filled with expert detective work, unexpected turns and stunning revelations. When two of the most basic human desires -- sex and money --cloud our judgment with lust and greed, they run the risk of dangerous consequences. This series exposes real-life cases where unhinged passion and extreme greed have motivated someone enough to kill. As first-hand detectives and victims' friends and family members recount each case, captivating recreations come together to bring each ruthless murder story to life. In the series premiere, a military veteran is missing and a young student is murdered in what appears to be a crime of passion. But the discovery of a secret payout leads police on a wild chase. Ice-T lends his distinct voice to the series, guiding viewers through each case in a way that only he can.

Ice-T returns as host and executive producer for the second season of IN ICE COLD BLOOD, premiering Monday, February 25, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on Oxygen. When some of the most basic human desires - sex and money - cloud our judgment with lust and greed, they run the risk of dangerous consequences. Over the course of sixteen episodes, real-life cases depict unhinged passion motivating someone enough to kill. First-hand detectives, along with friends and family closest to the victims, bring each cold-blooded story to life. In the Season 2 opener, "Peeping Perv," the quintessential girl next door is discovered brutally killed on Thanksgiving weekend. It takes investigators over a year to uncover the dark obsession that led to her murder.

Season 3 of IN ICE COLD BLOOD premiered on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on Oxygen. Ice-T returns as host and executive producer, lending his distinct voice to mind-blowing true stories involving sex, money, obsession -- or a fatal cocktail of all three. In the season opener, "Swimming with Sharks," a teenage girl is found beaten to death at the neighborhood pool, launching her father on a mission to catch her killer that ultimately changes crime fighting forever. Subsequent episodes highlight the plights of: an up-and-coming hotshot defense attorney, who is brutally stabbed in her own office, detectives uncover a world of possible suspects; and a young woman in her prime, who is found brutally murdered, the entire community rallies to help find her killer.

After nearly a year-long break, IN ICE COLD BLOOD returned with new episodes on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 7-9pm ET/PT on Oxygen as part of a limited back-to-back weekend event airing the remaining Season 3 episodes. In these cases, a young woman is stabbed to death, and the suspects include a warlock and a rumored Wiccan lover. An apartment fire is discovered to have been arson, intended to cover up a killer's tracks in one episode. Another features the murder of a local beauty queen who was found dead in a lake, while another focuses on the slaying of a small-town beautician.
