Plot Synopsis

Legendary pilot "Buffalo" Joe McBryan runs Buffalo Airways, which uses the world's most unique fleet of WWII-era propeller aircraft to deliver food and fuel to remote locations in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Based in Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories, Buffalo Airways defies the cold and the competition by flying planes on missions all over the Canadian North while enduring blizzards, breakdowns and crazy passengers. The crew includes: "Buffalo" Joe McBryan, President & Captain; Mikey McBryan, General Manager; Captain Arnie Schreder, chief pilot; and co-pilot Scott Blue. National Geographic Channel aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10pm ET.
